Thought Behind the Quote:
The hinge on a door is one of the small things that makes a big difference. When the door is open, nobody notices the strength of the hinge, and when the door is closed you cannot see them. The freedom the door has to swing open and closed is determined by the strength of the hinge. Attitudes are similar because they are not seen, but attitude is the little thing in all of us that makes the big difference. In order for the door of your destiny to swing freely open without restraint, your attitude must be will place, and strong. * Do you remember the show The Price is Right? I always enjoyed the part of the show where they gave the high achievers on the show, the option to choose Door #1, Door #2 or Door #3. It seemed to always be the Grand Prize of the show. Everyone has a choice about what doors they are going to go through in life. We all have symbolically had doors open for us and doors close. Every day you are faced with doors you walk through. Literally, from the doors in your house, out of your house, to any place you go throughout the day, you will walk through doors to go inside and outside of anywhere. Your destiny is like those doors and while the doors of our destiny are of the utmost importance, it is our attitude, the hinge, that is the little thing that makes a big difference. Nobody thinks about the hinge until the door doesn’t work. But if you ever walk through a door and the door falls down, there is most likely a problem with the hinges. This is much like our attitude. If a door you walk through does not work out, it is not the door, but the attitude that keeps the door of your destiny not working. Keep your hinge in place. Keep your hinge strong and sometimes your hinge may even need a little oil, to keep it working right.

Insecure people hate to be interrupted. Why? Because it makes them feel more insecure and that what they are saying is not important. Be confident, interruptions are a fact of life. I have discovered that when life doesn’t have to be about me, I can be interrupted, but when life, conversations, relationships, etc…are ME focused I don’t like interruption. I am convinced that God uses people, places and things to interrupt us, becuase He is always trying to Enter-Up us. God wants to allow anything or anyone to interrupt us without being offended, so He can help us Enter-Up us into something better that He has for us.
